About disposal.space

Hey! I'm Kenny — a developer based in Sweden. I built disposal.space as a solo project because I had a problem I couldn't find a good solution for.

I had years of project files, old client work, personal archives — stuff I couldn't delete but also didn't need cluttering my active workspace.

Google Drive felt wrong for it. Dropbox was expensive for cold storage. I wanted something that felt more like an attic — a place to put things away and forget about them until you need them.

Good question — here's the honest answer:

• Your files are stored on AWS S3 with 256-bit encryption — the same infrastructure Netflix and Airbnb use
• I don't have access to your file contents — everything is encrypted at rest
• Auth is handled by Clerk — I never see your password
• The codebase follows security best practices with HSTS, CSP, and strict data isolation

I use this app myself for my own files. I'm not going anywhere.

It's a real product run by my company, Ketryon AB, based in Sweden.

The free tier is sustainable because heavy users upgrade to Premium for more storage. No ads, no selling data — just a simple storage service.

• Clerk for authentication
• Stripe for payments

Everything is hosted on Railway with proper security headers, monitoring, and backups.
